Registration for the 79th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management is now open! The Program and PDW Chairs are developing an exciting program that features the Teaching and Learning Conference, All-Academy Theme sessions on “Understanding the Inclusive Organization,” theory- and method-oriented PDWs, paper presentations, and innovative symposia. Join us as a participant, presenter, discussant, and/or attendee.

You won’t want to miss the All-Academy Networking Breakfast & Presidential Address and Awards Ceremony on Sunday, August 11th. We’ll celebrate our award-winning members and collectively anticipate the creative provocative and inspiring Presidential Address from Carol T. Kulik. You’ll see this and much more on Sunday’s All-Academy Theme program.

The complete Program will be available online in late May for you to browse sessions, events, and activities and create a custom program.

The Academy of Management Annual Meeting is the premier conference for more than 10,000 students, academics, scholars, and professionals in the scholarly management and organization space. The 79th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management will be held August 9-13, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA; sessions will take place at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center, The Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, The Boston Marriott Copley Place, Boston Park Plaza, Sheraton Boston Hotel, Westin Copley Place Boston, Hilton Boston Back Bay. The program theme is "Understanding the Inclusive Organization".

The one-day Teaching and Learning Conference is an Academy-wide response to the growing teaching-related needs of AOM members across the globe. The goal of TLC@AOM is to assist members across all divisions as teachers. The conference is designed to support AOM members' teaching roles, increase teaching visibility both within and outside the Academy, and position the Academy as a global leader in management education in addition to its current leadership in management education research.

Registration for the TLC@AOM conference is $130 in addition to the registration fee for Academy of Management Annual Meeting. Your TLC@AOM fee covers full participation in the event, which includes the Luncheon Plenary and refreshment breaks, access to all morning and afternoon sessions, and teaching resource materials provided by presenters. The Teaching and Learning Conference will be held on the Sunday of the AOM Annual Meeting, prior to the refereed scholarly program. Join your colleagues in this day-long event for advancing teaching and learning in the Academy!

All attendees participating in ANY session, event, meeting, social or workshop, including presenters, AOM members, invited guests, chairs, discussants, facilitators, and speakers MUST be registered to attend.

There are no formal meals included in the registration fee.

Teaching and Learning Conference Fees: Registration for the Teaching and Learning Conference is in addition to AOM Annual Meeting registration. The cost to register is $130.00 USD.

If you encounter technical, system-related difficulties registering, please contact the office to record your concerns BEFORE the deadline. No requests for exceptions will be honored after the deadline.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel registration for any reason, or to cancel and charge an alternate credit card a cancellation request must be submitted by the registrant, in writing to the Academy of Management and postmarked, faxed or e-mailed to the AOM by July 18, 2019. A Processing Fee of $30 will be charged at the time registration cancellation is processed. When registration is cancelled, any additional Professional Development Workshops for which the attendee has registered will also be cancelled. If the cancellation request is not received before the posted cancellation deadline, no refund will be issued. After this date, refunds cannot be granted due to contractual obligations and guarantees. This also extends to registration for any Professional Development Workshops and social events requiring separate enrollment.
