Not a reading, but thee's a cool documentary just finished by Oscar-winning
doc director Ben Shedd -- see
www.deepgreen.tv (also:
http://tinyurl.com/msezx ) - it's about the new ultra-green (LEED Platinum)
Banner Bank Building in Boise. Ben's email -
sheddprods@aol.com .
Enjoy!
I'm a little involved in this work, peripherally. One interesting element
is that architects and designers have largely taken the lead with USGBC, so
that the contractor's/constructor's role in green building is emerging more
slowly.
Matt Syal here at Michigan State is doing some work on it, as are people at
University of Pittsburgh's School of Engineering.
