The STR Division has adopted a new Global Impact Plan this year that makes a stronger commitment to outreach in underserved and emerging regions of strategic management scholarship. As a part of these efforts, the STR Division is co-sponsoring the 2nd wISE Scholarship in Oceania – Fostering the Innovation, Strategy & Entrepreneurship Community conference. We hope that many of our members, particularly in the ASEAN and Oceania region, will submit papers and attend.
wISE Scholarship in Oceania Conference (wISE 2025)
The second edition of the wISE Scholarship in Oceania Conference (wISE 2025) will be held at Macquarie University, Sydney, from 20-21 March 2025. Full details at: https://event.mq.edu.au/wise-conference/.
Submission deadline: January 9, 2025.
SUBMISSIONS
Presenters will be selected based on manuscript submissions, which should be sent to wISE@mq.edu.au. Please include the following (in one single word file), following AOM guidelines:
· Cover page (including all authors and their contact details)
· Working paper (up to 40 pages, including references, tables, and figures). Papers should include research questions addressed, theory/literature review, hypotheses/propositions, research design, and expected results and contribution to scholarship in strategy, innovation and/or entrepreneurship literature(s)
· Stream that you would prefer presenting in (Innovation, Strategy, Entrepreneurship)
Scholars in the region can attend the conference without presenting a paper.

· Authors notified of outcomes: 1 February 2025
· Registration closes: 21 February 2025
