    Call for 200-500 Word Abstracts:  Theory and Research on Diversity Leadership Development: Aiming to Diversify Leadership across the Organizational Hierarchy

     

    Alison Konrad and Jennifer Jones-Morales are organizing a symposium submission for the 2018 AOM Conference in Chicago.  Our topic/working title is, "Theory and Research on Diversity Leadership Development: Aiming to Diversify Leadership across the Organizational Hierarchy." We invite submissions from colleagues working in this area.  We will be using the Presenter Symposium format (see http://aom.org/annualmeeting/submission/guidelines/#symposiumguideline). 

     

    If you are interested in participating in our symposium submission, please send a 200-500 word abstract of your proposed contribution to akonrad@ivey.ca by December 10, 2017.  In the event that we receive more submissions than we are able to include in our proposal, we will choose abstracts on the basis of theoretical richness and insight, contribution to extant knowledge, and (for empirical pieces only) empirical rigor. 

     

    We will need you to provide a finalized version of your 2-5 page (double-spaced) synopsis of your presentation (not including references) by January 2, 2018. As indicated by the AOM submission guidelines, each presentation may include a maximum of two additional pages of tables and figures. Tables and figures must be clear and legible, and should be no smaller than 10-point font.
