    The Department of Management at Colorado State University invites applications and nominations for a tenure/tenure track Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior. This position reports directly to the Department Chair in the Department of Management at the College of Business. The start date for a Fall of 2022 appointment is August 16th, 2022. Salary and benefits are competitive. Specific responsibilities include: Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in organizational behavior, leadership, and other related courses; conducting research leading to scholarly publication in leading academic journals; and providing service to the College, University, profession, and community (service expectations are commensurate with rank). Ability to advance the Department's commitment to diversity and inclusion through research, teaching and outreach with relevant programs, goals, and activities.

     

    Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, or related field-candidates who expect to complete the degree prior to the position's start date are encouraged to apply. An established record of publishing empirical research in top-tier, peer reviewed, academic journals, or a demonstrated potential to do so, is required. Candidates must have the background and ability to teach courses in organizational behavior and leadership. Candidates must also have strong quantitative training and the ability to teach courses in human resource management and/or organizational behavior.

     

    In addition to required qualifications, preferred candidates will have: (1) an impactful research program that emphasizes organizational behavior and related topics, (2) evidence of the ability to effectively teach courses in organizational behavior, leadership and related topics, (3) strong potential for leadership to help continue elevating our management program to national prominence, and (4) the ability to work effectively in a department that places significant emphasis on interdisciplinary interaction and integration. Candidates are expected to have an expressed commitment to the mission and goals of the College and Department.
