We invite you to join us for a pivotal "All Academy Theme" panel on "Embodied Insights:  Broadening the Scope of Management Research Through a Bodily Lens" sponsored by the Management and Organizational Cognition (MOC) Division.

Our panelists will present intriguing accounts of their research and research agendas that theoretically frame classic and emerging phenomena in organizational studies grounded in embodiment perspectives and theorizing. Insights about the body's role in emerging discoveries about phenomena in organizations, as well as how the researcher's bodily experiences are embedded in methodological processes of embodiment research are raised as salient and critical vantages for consideration.

Please review our panelists' topics below.

    Alexandra Michel, University of Pennsylvania

"The Role of the Human Body in Social Interactions in Organizations"
