    The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Information Systems/Analytics at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with an expected start date of August 2022. The rank of the position will depend upon experience and qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in Cybersecurity or Artificial Intelligence. This position is part of the School's strategic plan of hiring four to five faculty members annually over the next few years. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

    Successful candidates will possess a PhD, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Science, or other related disciplines. The degree must be completed before August 2022. Experience in industry and/or government is a plus.

    Information Systems faculty at the school are active in research involving collective intelligence, process innovation, peer production, machine learning, and fintech. Candidates are expected to complement and enhance the research activities of the school with their own scholarly activities, advise Ph.D. students, and are expected to publish in top journals of their field. Successful candidates are expected to teach in our graduate and undergraduate programs in Information Systems and/or Business Intelligence & Analytics. The university offers a competitive teaching load and excellent support for faculty research.

    Stevens offers Information Systems degrees at the graduate, undergraduate, and PhD levels. The MS in Information Systems is the largest program in the School of Business and consists of courses on emerging information technologies, digital innovation, data analytics, IT strategy and IS architectures, with concentrations in Cybersecurity Risk Management and Business Intelligence & Analytics. Successful candidates are expected to participate in curricular development, student advisement, and the program's robust series of public events besides the primary role of pursuing a strong research agenda.
