ICIS 2021 will be taking place most likely in a hybrid format. In these challenging times, it is all the more important for our community to continue working on pressing societal problems and to share our findings.

Fittingly, the theme for ICIS 2021 is "Building Sustainability and Resilience with IS: A Call for Action", which could not have come at a more opportune time in our global response to Covid-19 and climate change. We have 2 conference theme tracks on IS for Sustainability and IS for Resilience to advance work in these areas.
