For this special issue, we are interested in research that focuses on entrepreneurship (and the associated dependencies) in the context of digital platforms. Note that many MNEs are 'born globals' and own/manage digital platforms and associated global ecosystems. Further, many of the global partners of such platform-based MNEs are also new ventures (in different host countries). As such, the topic and the issues highlighted by this special issue should be of broad interest to researchers in International Business.
