    The Department of Management in Western Kentucky University invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Management position.

     

    Job Description:

    Applications are being sought for an Assistant/Associate Professor in Management commencing August 2021. The successful candidate will have demonstrated capability for high-impact scholarly research and excellent teaching in an environment where collaboration and collegiality are valued. The teaching expectations will be to teach courses in human resources, organizational behavior and/or principles of management. Service to the department, college, university, and the profession is expected. Business and related experience, applied research, and grant/fund raising capabilities are valuable assets.


    Requirements:

    Candidates must have a completed Ph.D. or nearly completed Ph.D. degree from an AACSB accredited institution in a management field.

    The Management Department currently has 15 full-time faculty members. The department supports four undergraduate concentrations-business administration, human resource management, entrepreneurship, and international business-and an MBA program. (https://www.wku.edu/management/)

     

    The Gordon Ford College of Business is AACSB accredited in both business and accounting and currently offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in various business majors. The Management Department houses the largest number of majors within the College, and is one of the largest programs on campus.
