Hello all!
The 2020 AOM Virtual New Doctoral Student Consortium (NDSC) begins one week from today! I, along with the entire NDSC committee, am excited to be hosting the first even virtual NDSC and provide early-stage doctoral students with the opportunity to connect with and get advice from faculty members from a variety of schools on topics such as research and publication, academia as an institution, and personal success in the Ph.D. program.
For participants of the 2020 NDSC:
Ensure that your technology is set up functioning correctly. At the minimum, you will need a microphone and audio to be able to able to engage with the panelists and other participants. While video is not required, it is encouraged. Also, mark the dates and times for the sessions on your calendar. Sessions will be Friday, August 07 – Sunday, August 09, 202 10:00 AM-12:00 PM (noon) EST.
For those unable to attend the 2020 NDSC:
At a minimum, the panel sessions will be recorded and made available for viewing after the completion of the NDSC. Stay tuned for more information regarding the recorded sessions after the NDSC has concluded.
