Like the reality TV show, scholars will "pitch" their paper ideas to a panel of leading management scholars (Paul Adler, Teresa Amabile, Tima Bansal, John Hollenbeck, Chet Miller, Nancy Rothbard) who will then, along with the audience, be asked to vote for the most promising papers.  Candidates will pre-submit paragraph-long abstracts of their papers.  From this pool, the AMD editors will select 12 finalists to serve as contestants.  Each contestant will be given 3 minutes (and no more than 3 power point slides) to summarize their study (i.e., make their pitch). Panelists will then be given 2-3 minutes to vote and give quick feedback.  The first part of the event is open to all. Following this open part of the session, AMD editors will provide additional one-on-one feedback to the authors of two presented papers. All are welcome to participate in both parts of this session.
