    The 2019 Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM) Annual Research Forum (powered by the PDMA), seeks paper and poster submissions from scholars from all disciplines who share a common interest in new product development and innovation management. The conference will offer networking opportunities with innovation scholars, practitioners, the JPIM's new Editorial Team and the PDMA community. Full papers, special topics proposals and early stage work are all welcome.

    Conference Themes

    The 2019 JPIM Research Forum Co-chairs welcome submissions regarding all aspects of new product development (NPD) and innovation management, including but not limited to:

    • New Product, Service, and Process Design, Development and Management
    • Disruptive Designs, Business Models, and Entrepreneurship
    • Emerging Enabling Technologies and Innovation, e.g. big data & AI, blockchain, gene therapy, humanoid robotics and more
    • Open Innovation and Innovation Eco-Systems
    • Responsible, Ethical and Social Innovation
    • Women Innovators
    • Interfaces between Innovation and other disciplines including Strategy, Organization, Finance, Operations and Talent Management;
    • Industry-specific Innovation studies (e.g., innovation in healthcare, education, energy, and other industries)
    • Other special session topics related to innovation
    • Submissions from all academic areas, methodological approaches, and regions of the world are welcome.
