Interested in decentralization? We've got a workshop for you!

On May 25th, 2020 the W. Maurice Young Centre for Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Research, in collaboration with Blockchain@UBC, will host a conversation on the promises and limitations of distributed trust technologies.

The Workshop brings together individuals from academia, industry, and the public sector that work with blockchain and other distributed trust technologies to:

    • Explore the decentralization of organization as an unfolding process
    • Illuminate progress, opportunities, and challenges around the ongoing decentralization of organization
    • Discuss how people working with distributed trust technologies and organizational scholars can collaboratively study and inform this process.

The workshop immediately precedes the Blockchain@UBC's fourth Annual Conference on May 26th, 2020.

To enrich the workshop with a diversity of perspectives, the W. Maurice Young Centre for Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Research is offering financial support to select participants from beyond Metro Vancouver.
