The Psychology Department at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in I/O Psychology starting August 2020. Applications must have earned a doctorate (or anticipated prior to the start date) in I/O Psychology or related field, show evidence of and potential for scholarly productivity, as well as graduate and undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will teach graduate level I/O psychology courses (e.g. job analysis and performance appraisal, as well as topical seminars in the area of expertise) with additional responsibility for teaching undergraduate courses (depending on department needs and candidate preferences); maintain a productive record of research and scholarship in area(s) of specialization; advise graduate and undergraduate students in research, course selection, and career preparation; and participate in service at the local, state, and national levels and to the profession. The I/O program emphasizes a scientist-practitioner model and is committed to training outstanding scientists-practitioners.
