Calling all PhD students, post-docs, and early-stage junior faculty (and senior faculty too).  I'm writing to encourage your participation in the HCM research incubator, fondly called Research in the Rough, and always a highlight of the AOM annual meeting.  This is a great opportunity for anyone working on a paper who would value feedback, regardless of stage. There are still slots available to receive feedback. There are also scholarships to the annual meeting still available for anyone in financial need. Research in the Rough applicants can apply for those by contacting Brian Hilligoss (hilligoss@arizona.edu).

Below is information on the research incubator.  I look forward to seeing you there!

HCM Research Incubator: Research in the Rough (Application Deadline Extended to June 30th)

    When:  Saturday, July 31st, 2021 12:30pm-1:30pm EST

    Location:  Zoom

The HCM Division invites researchers to participate in a highly interactive research PDW during the 2021 Virtual Academy of Management Annual Meeting. The session is designed to provide researchers with all levels of experience (doctoral students, early careerists, senior scholars) with constructive feedback on their research projects that are in progress, ranging from early stage conceptualization to later stage manuscript preparation. Each participant will discuss, one-on-one, their research projects with each of their 2 mentors, rotating in timed increments via Zoom.

Accepted applicants must have an active AoM membership and be registered for the 2021 Virtual annual meeting.

Applicants must submit an application by June 30th, 2021. To submit an application, please go to: forms.gle/MMPg7tLjA8gFQHFfA. Applicants will be notified no later than July 8th, 2021 if they have been accepted. Please direct any questions to wjglover@babson.edu.
