HCM Highlights for Sunday: AOM Day 3

  • 1.  HCM Highlights for Sunday: AOM Day 3

    Posted 08-08-2020 18:06

    Ahhhhh, Sunday!

Although you may be reminiscing about the amazing dim sum we enjoyed on Sunday in Vancouver 5 years ago and cursing COVID-19 for spoiling your AOM Sunday sight-seeing, you can still enjoy an all-Academy function. There are a lot of great sessions and functions outside of our division! Check out the AOM 2020 Program.

There are no "live" (synchronous) HCM sessions scheduled for Sunday 8/9. We hope you'll take some time to explore some of the great asynchronous HCM-sponsored PDWs and paper sessions!

Even without the fabulous socials where networking and fun take place, we would like to thank the sponsors that support the division.  We rely on their continued support to provide the exceptional program that we put together each year.  So, thank you for your ongoing support!

    • Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA)
    • IUPUI @ University of Indiana
    • Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management
    • NYU Meyers College of Nursing
    • Virginia Commonwealth University
    • Stanford Medicine
    • Stonehill College

    Many, many thanks!

    Tim Vogus (Division Chair)
    Sara Singer (Division Chair-Elect)
    Brian Hilligoss (Program Chair)
    Ria Hearld (PDW Chair)
    Tia Gilmartin (Past Division Chair)

Some Suggestions for using the new online program and virtual meeting platform:

    • The AOM Quick Start Guide is a handy tool for getting started. It has instructions not only for logging in, creating a profile, and updating your password, but also for engaging others in conversations via the virtual platform, giving feedback to session presenters, and creating "Birds of a Feather" meeting rooms to interact with other conference attendees.
    • You can view the entire AOM 2020 Program
    • Rather than "View Full Agenda" (i.e., all sessions across all divisions), we recommend using the pull-down search menu on the top right to filter your search. If you select HCM under "Sponsors" in that search pull-down list, you'll see all our sessions. We hope you will join for as many of them as possible!
    • See the AOM Quick Start Guide for instructions on adding sessions to your "Agenda."
    • For live sessions, there will be a countdown to the start time of the live session. Once the countdown has completed, there will be a link to take you to join the session. For asynchronous sessions, there will be a recording of the session that you can view any time you would like.
