    The Sheldon B. Lubar College of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications for a full time Teaching Professor (open rank) who might also serve as the Director of the Lubar College Business Scholars Program to begin in August 2023. Candidate to be appointed at rank appropriate to qualifications and experience.

    The primary responsibility in this position will be to teach four courses per semester or its equivalent for all academic semesters in Management at the Lubar College of Business, while performing research, consulting, and/or other professional activities.  Additionally, the selected candidate may also choose to be considered to serve as the Director of the Lubar College Business Scholars Program, with one course release per semester.  In this role, the individual selected is expected to mentor and advise a selected group of outstanding undergraduate scholars, serve as thesis advisor, and teach special sections for those scholars, and manage the Program.  The Teaching Professor will also provide service and work collegially and collaboratively with the Management area, Lubar College, and the University. 

    The qualified candidate will possess a doctoral degree in Business or a closely related field specializing in Management or an allied area. Required qualifications include prior successful teaching experience in Management (as evidenced by teaching evaluations or other means) and excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred qualifications include expertise in organizational behavior, analytics, and/or innovation.
