    Dear Colleagues,

    On behalf of my colleagues in the TARGETED-MPI project, I am emailing you today with regards to the 83rd Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management taking place 4-8 August 2023 in Boston.

     

    We are currently preparing a proposal for a Presenter Symposium around the theme of Gender Equality Plans in Higher Education Institutions.

     

    TARGETED-MPI (Transparent And Resilient Gender Equality Through Integrated Monitoring Planning and Implementation) responds directly to the Horizon H2020-SwafS-09-2018-2019 call under the topic support to Higher Education and Research Organizations to implement Gender Equality Plans (GEPs). TARGETED-MPI focuses specifically on institutional changes through the development and effective implementation of Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) in Business and Management (B&M) schools to drive more inclusive, sustainable and transparent academic cultures.

     

    If you are working on similar projects, developing gender equality plans, in higher education institutions, or even in different industries, or if you are working on DEIB issues, we look forward to your contribution to our symposium.

     

    If you are interested in presenting a paper that fits within the symposium's theme, please let us know by sending an initial short abstract to fa16@aub.edu.lb by November 30th, 2022

     Important deadlines to keep in mind:

    ü    November 30th : Initial short Abstract

    ü    December 5th  : Decision on Abstract.

    ü    December 16th : Detailed Abstract (Two- to five-page synopsis of your paper as per AOM style)

    ü    January 4th: Revised Detailed Abstract incorporating reviewer feedback

    ü    January 10th: Symposium submission by organizers

    ü    End of March: Notification of Acceptance of the Symposium by AOM

    ü    July 10th:  Paper to be emailed to fa16@aub.edu.lb  to allow time for the Symposium Discussant to read before the conference.

     

    We look forward to receiving your initial short abstract by November 30th .
