Dear colleagues,
I'm posting this announcement on behalf of colleagues from Intermountain. If you're interested in implementation science or know someone who is, please feel free to pass this on. I can vouch for the group; they're terrific.
"We have a great opportunity for a skilled researcher with training in implementation science.
I've got a super cool new role here for a senior scientist role here at the Healthcare Delivery Institute (HDI). This is a unique opportunity to work with amazing teams at Intermountain Health, the 10th U.S. largest non-profit healthcare system in the intermountain west (33 hospitals, 385 clinics, across 7 states). This senior scientist will have the opportunity to collaborate with accomplished clinicians and scientists conducting cutting-edge implementation science. This includes projects with major grant funding, large datasets, and publications in major journals. In my new role, this person would be working with those in the clinical programs; so clinical leaders over Acute and Ambulatory Medical Specialties (ICU, inpatient wards, ED/Trauma), Behavioral Health, Cardiovascular, Musculoskeletal, Neurosciences, Oncology, Primary and Preventive Care, Surgical Specialties and Digestive Health, Women's Health and Neonatal. I know it's a lot but honestly, there are some pretty amazing opportunities to improve care by partnering with these groups.
Candidates should be researchers (PhD preferred, MD/DO acceptable) with at least 5 years of experience with standard research activities (e.g., study design, data collection, statistical analysis, publication) in healthcare delivery contexts. Please forward this to anyone who might be a good fit. Even if they aren't actively looking, we can sometimes convince them to join us! Tim Fowles, the research director at the HDI, is the hiring manager for this position. Feel free to contact him with any questions: timothy.fowles@imail.org
