negotiationandteamresources.com NTR's grant program supports new initiatives in research and teaching in the field of negotiation and conflict broadly construed.
We have specific interests for 2025:
On the RESEARCH front, NTR continues to be interested in funding research at the interface of AI and negotiation or dispute resolution.
On the TEACHING front, NTR is particularly interested in funding simulations that have companion multimedia or video teaching tools (for example, a mediation simulation that has a video recording demonstrating best practices for that mediation) or is designed for AI supported technology. The teaching materials should be designed to train students to be effective negotiators, mediators, arbitrators OR advocates in mediation or arbitration.
Scholars globally are eligible to apply for research and teaching grants. NTR's grants are paid to the scholar's institution. Grants may range from $5,000 - $10,000 or occasionally more depending on the project. NTR is a nonprofit organization and does not pay institutional overhead.
Proposals are due April 1, 2025, with funding decisions expected by June 15, 2025. NTR expects projects to be completed within two calendar years of receipt of the grant.
