Louisiana Tech's Computer Information Systems Department will admit 3 well-qualified doctoral enrollees the Ph.D. program in Fall of 2026. Our students generally go to their tenure track appoints with at least a published or accepted journal article already in hand, and receive high level quantitative and qualitative methodology training from leading scholars in the field. It is a theoretically rich program, with particular foci on information assurance/cybersecurity and Accounting Information Systems. We also host a behavioral neuroscience lab in our NSA/DHS accredited Center of Academic Excellence in CyberDefense research, teaching and operations.
