    Hello HCM community,

Happy Tuesday! I hope the beginning of the fall semester has been kind to you.

The new AOM Student Programs committee has scheduled our first event for Thursday, September 12th.The event is exclusively for PhD students and prospective students. We would appreciate any contacts sharing this event below with their colleagues, students, and community. More information regarding registration and the event can be found below.

This event aims to build a sense of community across different interest groups within the AOM Student Community by providing students with the opportunity to expand their networks and learn about resources that can support them in their PhD journeys.

The event will begin with a short panel discussion, during which the panelists will discuss their experiences as PhD students and resources/communities/networks that helped them in in their respective journeys. The panel discussion will last for 20 min with 10 min for Q&A.

Following the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to join a breakout room with one or more of the panelists to discuss how we can continue to build a strong sense of community among AOM member students. The breakout rooms will last 20 min, with 10 min at the end for the breakout group leaders to provide a very short summary of their conversations. The groups will be organized as follows:
