    Dear Colleagues,

Greetings. For an intensive executive graduate course that I will be conducting this month, could you please be kind enough sharing resources such as syllabi, ppt slides, cases, and simulations you may have utilized for a similar graduate course on negotiation and crisis leadership.

    Hi Djamel,

I teach a negotiations course here (on occasion).

The DRRC at Northwestern is a fabulous resource.  They have courses and articles on many topics.

    http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/research/drrc.aspx

For crisis management, I have fewer resources, but look into Behavioral Decision Theory.

    Hello,

I have been teaching negotiation and conflict resolution for the past 25 years and write many negotiation exercises.  Attached is my syllabus.

I also want to recommend that you visit Negotiation and Team Resources for teaching materials.

Jeanne Brett, the founder of the DRRC, created this new non-profit to carry on the DRRC's mission (which was recently changed) to distribute the best negotiation and team materials for classroom use and continue the funding for teaching and scholarship in the field.

I hope you find this helpful.

    Hello Djamel,

You may find the following exercises useful

    (1) Ugli oranges - this is a short but highly effective exercise on cooperative problem solving

    (2) Hamilton Real Estate - you can find this on HBSP - the exercises enables discussion on various issues related to negotiations

    (3) You can also discuss the Thomas and Kilman inventory on conflict styles

Hope this helps. Best wishes with your course.

    Hello Djamel,

I found the following three exercises useful in my conflict and negotiation course:

    Ebner, N., & Winkler, Y. (2009). Pasta Wars: A Prisoner's Dilemma Simulation-Game. Simulation & Gaming40(1), 134-146.
(I modified this one, so that it became "Poutine wars.")

    Callanan, G. A., & Perri, D. F. (2006). Teaching conflict management using a scenario-based approach. Journal of Education for Business81(3), 131-139.

Seltzer, J., & Smither, J. W. (2007). "Where there is a will...": A New Exercise to Explore Distributive and Integrative Conflict Management. Organization Management Journal4(3), 259-286.
