All,
I reached out to the AOM community about 2 years ago for support on a SHRM-funded research project exploring coaching effectiveness. The support so far has been great, and I would like to turn to the AOM community once more for help collecting data.
The overall purpose of our research is to empirically establish the connections between key coaching variables.
As part of my team's research, we have developed a measurement approach that allows coaches to quickly and easily assess their effectiveness as a coach at a number of levels. The questions asked are in no way personally identifiable and take about 5 minutes for coachees and 10-15 minutes for coaches. All questions are generic and non-invasive and your coachees' anonymity completely protected. Questions focus on the quality of the coaching relationship and how effective the coaching overall is. All questions are asked in either a Likert format (e.g., Rate this item 1 to 5) or checkbox format.
In return for your participation, we are offering to provide you with an individualized reporting out of your results (see a sample here goo.gl/f9JhiN). With at least 5 responses from your coachees, we can generate a feedback report that will provide you with some helpful insights into your effectiveness as a coach. Our hope is that it will help you identify strengths and opportunities in the ways you are serving your clients.
If you are interested, please feel free to reach out to me, or if you would like to receive a custom link to access the toolkit, just follow the link below. Full disclosure: in the signup link you will be asked for YOUR email (but NOT your coachees' email) so that we can generate the link for you and match up your responses to your coachees' responses.
