MIS Quarterly is pleased to announce a new Special Issue focused on Ethics, Regulation, and Policy in the digital age, inviting research that examines how digital technologies, data, and AI are reshaping institutions, governance, and societal norms.

As waves of digital innovation and rapidly advancing AI continue to transform how organizations and societies operate, they also introduce profound ethical, regulatory, and policy challenges. From data privacy, fairness, and algorithmic responsibility to sustainability, labor, and human dignity, this Special Issue highlights the growing need to balance innovation and competitiveness with accountability, trust, and public good.
