The virtual workshop will centre on a panel discussion in which the audience will contribute questions and use breakout rooms to interact with panellists in smaller numbers and to engage in deeper conversations. We welcome PhD candidates and Early Career Researchers across management areas (HR, OB, IS, Strategy, Operations etc). This is a free event, however please note that participants will be screened to ensure representation across management areas, theoretical perspectives and methodological strengths to ensure the discussion is balanced across these areas. Participants do not need preparation to attend this workshop.
We will be joined by three expert panellists:
Professor Gina Neff - Professor of Technology & Society at the University of Oxford and Executive Director of the Minderoo Centre for Technology & Democracy at the University of Cambridge
Dr Bart Vanneste - Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the UCL School of Management
Dr Luciana D’Adderio - Chancellor’s Fellow in Data Driven Innovation at the University of Edinburgh and Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
Supported by UK Research Innovation and the UCL School of Management, this event is the first of a series of events exploring the intersection of AI, Management and Healthcare. The event will be chaired by Dr Angela Aristidou, Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the UCL School of Management and UKRI FLF Fellow, and Dr Giulia Cappellaro, Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the School of Management and Assistant Professor at the Bocconi University’s Department of Social and Political Sciences.
