While Trinity University provides strong institutional support for grant funding, there are no expectations placed on faculty to secure funding. Faculty members typically teach two masters-level courses per semester, as well as supervise a small group of students (~5) in their administrative residencies. Description/ Additional Detail: "The Health Services Administration (HADM) program at Auburn University invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track assistant professor position with a projected start date of August 16, 2023. Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in health administration, public health, or a closely related discipline by the start date, and present a strong indication of future research productivity in appropriate academic journals.

Successful candidates will have a broad knowledge of healthcare management and should have the ability to teach across the undergraduate health services administration curriculum (e.g. U.S. healthcare delivery system, health information technology, management, post-acute care, policy, etc.) as needed. Areas of particular need for expertise/course coverage include healthcare management/leadership, financial management, operations management, or health insurance/reimbursement. Relevant field experience is desired, but not required.

The HADM program serves approximately 150 undergraduate students. The more than ninety percent placement rate of its students in either administrative positions or graduate school is a testament to both the dedication of the program faculty and the quality of its students. The B.S. program in Health Services Administration has been accredited by the Association of University Programs in Health Administration since 1995. The program is devoted to academic distinction in research, teaching, and service, and focuses on a culture of student and faculty engagement, bridging theory with practice to extend scholarship and learning beyond the classroom. The program is housed in the Department of Political Science within the College of Liberal Arts.
