New York City, known for its vibrant financial market, prestigious academic institutions, and cultural diversity, thrives in attracting ambitious and competent global talent. Yet, it lags behind several other U.S. cities in biotechnology entrepreneurship.
My colleague and I at the Global Healthcare Innovation Management Center (Gabelli School of Business) in NYC will be organizing a two-hour panel discussion with biotech leaders, scientists, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to discuss how recent biopharma breakthroughs in the fight against COVID19 pandemic ushers in opportunities for the city to reinvent itself and catch up with major biopharma hubs in the U.S. The event is titled "NYC Biopharma Startup in the Age of Accelerated Discovery." It will be held through Zoom on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 4:00 PM (ET).
