NIH AIM-AHEAD is excited to release a Call for Proposals for the AIM-AHEAD Program for Artificial Intelligence Readiness (PAIR).

PAIR is designed to build capacity for organizations who need support in AI and ML for health equity. PAIR's two-phase funding model offers up to $250,000 over two years, connecting awardees with AIM-AHEAD resources for long-term research success.

Through comprehensive AI training, research mentorship with experts, and grant writing support, awardees can establish an AI health equity research lab at their institution. This collaborative initiative unites public health researchers, healthcare professionals, data scientists, and ethicists, creating a dynamic environment to tackle health equity challenges together.

Successful applicants can receive up to $100,000 each for Phase 1 Awards, with 15 awards available. They will also have the opportunity to apply for up to ten Phase 2 Awards, each up to $150,000.
