    Apologies for cross-posting…….

I am inviting you to attend the upcoming Careers Division Plenary Session:

Out and About...Lessons Learned from Multi-Country Research Programs - 5C, CRANET and GLOBE Careers Division Plenary Session

Monday, August 2, 12-1pm ET (NY Time)

Our Careers Division plenary session will expand horizons when it comes to exploring multi-country research - not just in careers but in HRM and in line with this year's AOM theme of "bringing the manager back into management research" - in the fields of leadership and culture as well.

Diversity, inclusion and multi-cultural collaboration are so salient these days and we are taking this opportunity to have a discussion with leaders from three interesting and different multi-country research programs: 5C (Cross-Cultural Collaboration on Contemporary Careers), CRANET (Cranfield Network on International Human Resource Management) and GLOBE (Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness).

    The panelists will include:

Jon Briscoe, Northern Illinois University, Cross-Cultural Collaboration on Contemporary Careers (5C)

Michael Dickmann, Cranfield University, Cross-Cultural Collaboration on Contemporary Careers (5C)

Emma Parry – Cranfield University, Cranfield Network on International HRM (CRANET)

Mila Lazarova – Simon Fraser University, Cranfield Network on International HRM (CRANET)

Mansour Javidan – Arizona State University, Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness (GLOBE)

Peter Dorfman – New Mexico State University, Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness (GLOBE)

Moderator: Rick Cotton, University of Victoria (5C, GLOBE)

The Synchronous Live Presenter discussion will offer comparative project information and insights on topics including structure, membership, goals, accomplishments, challenges and lessons learned including a LIVE Q&A with panelists from each of these three research programs. This session will be of interest not only to careers scholars but to the broader HRM and management scholarly and practitioner communities.

Please join us for a thought provoking and inspiring discussion on international research.  We look forward to seeing you there!

    All the best,

    Rick
