    About the Presentation

Despite the shared research interest in multinational enterprises (MNEs) in the international business (IB) and international human resource management (IHRM), the two fields of studies have been criticised for the lack of dialogue and collaboration beneficial to extending the knowledge in these fields. At the same time, both IB and IHRM have expanded into the international development area, for example, there is growing interest in the role of MNEs in promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this presentation, Dr. Fang Lee Cooke aims to address some of the critiques, challenge existing assumptions, and provide examples of research avenues that may critically examine the role of MNEs in promoting SDGs through their HRM practices from the perspective of developing countries.

    Colleagues,

I recently created a small, family-owned book publishing companyo, Classic Books by Martin J. Gannon, Inc., that just published its first of seven books, distributed by and available on Amazon. A Memoir of 375 Management Insights:  The Strategic Realistic Method for Life and Career Success.  I am interested in offering zoom seminars that have the following requirements:
    1.            Attendees must read the book beforehand.  It is not necessary to purchase but to be prepared.

    2.            Attendees must view a video interview of the author conducted by Professor Rebecca Kehoe of Cornell University  in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the HR Division of the AOM.  The author was Chair of this Division in 1973.  The link to the book's website where the video and other materials are located is htpps://martingannon.org/

3,            Each attendee must pre-register by   XXXXXX and e-mail at least one question to Professor Gannon he of she would like answered.

    4.            Professor Gannon will talk for 15 minutes and then directly interact with the attendees by answering questions.

Please let me know if there is any interest in the zoom seminar.

    Martin Gannon
