✨ William H. Newman Award
This prestigious award honors up to three outstanding papers annually, each based on recent dissertations. Eligibility criteria include:
- Single-authored papers ✍️,
- Based on a doctoral dissertation completed within the past three years 🎓,
- Not previously published 📰.
To qualify as "outstanding," submissions must:
✅ Address significant organizational phenomena,
✅ Engage deeply with relevant literature,
✅ Present meaningful insights,
✅ Articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
Finalists will be notified before the conference, with the winner announced during the New Doctoral Student Consortium 🏅.
🌐 Carolyn B. Dexter Award
The Carolyn B. Dexter Award celebrates research that furthers the Academy's mission to internationalize business and management scholarship 🌎. Selection criteria include:
- A focus on global business and management issues,
- Cross-border collaboration among scholars 🤝,
- Use of creative methodologies and rich observations 🔍,
- Attention to topics or methods outside the U.S. mainstream but of exceptional quality in other research traditions.
Nominees and finalists will be informed ahead of the conference, with the winner announced during the Award Presentation Ceremony 🥳.
