    HI MC: Division,

I met with my dissertation chair and my proposal was accepted and I also submitted my application to IRB. My chair suggested I begin to reach out to potential participants. I will follow-up with an official consent form upon IRB approval. But for now, I just want to get names/recommendations for participants. Below is a bit more about my study.

I am writing to ask you to be a participant in my dissertation study. I would love to have you and a consultant you have collaborated with on a change project to be able to share your experiences. My goal is to identify Organization Development (OD)/Organization Transformation (OT), internal and external consultants with experience in collaborating for a change management project, totaling 5 to 20 teams for my study and I would really like it if you could suggest your teammate and any other consultants you may think would able to contribute to my study. I am very interested in the experience and it could be from the past or recent, I believe the richness will come out of our dialogue.

    Topic Description:
To research how external consultants and internal consultants collaborate to practice the planned change consulting process in their daily work; with the intent to explore how they can teach and learn from each other's skills, knowledge, and experiences at the most differentiated stages of the planned change consulting process.

    Proposed Methodology:
I will conduct a phenomenological qualitative approach focusing on understanding experiences from the point of view of those who lived them (Bloomberg & Volpe, 2012). I will interview a target group of organization development consultants. The purpose of the interview is to explore the responses of the consultants to generate understanding and deep insights to inform professional practice for change efforts with direct relevance to improving practice and advocating for change (Bloomberg & Volpe, 2012). My research will address organization development practitioner's needs by drawing recommendations from the findings that are understandable and implementable to consultants and organization leaders in many organizations (Gummesson, 1999).

    Thanks,
    Nicole
