    Faculty Announcement: The Department of Psychology at Penn State (https://psych.la.psu.edu/) is recruiting for a Psychologist to join our top-ranked and collegial industrial-organizational psychology program (https://psych.la.psu.edu/graduate/program-areas/industrial-organizational) in a tenure track position starting August 2020. Rank is open, but we will likely hire at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. We are particularly interested in applicants who have expertise in traditional "I" topics including, but not limited to: individual and group differences, job analysis and competency modeling, employee selection (e.g., test development and validation; utility analysis; test fairness, bias and adverse impact), criterion development and performance management, and employee training and development. We especially welcome candidates who can contribute to one or more of the cross-cutting research themes in our department: Quantitative Methods, Applied/Translational Research, Context and Culture, Social Inequalities, and Neuroscience. Substantial opportunities exist for collaboration both within the department and across campus. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in I-O psychology or a related field, is publishing in top I/O psychology journals, has an excellent teaching record, and has a history of (or clear potential for) external funding. Applicants who can contribute to an overarching department initiative to enhance diversity and our understanding of diversity are particularly encouraged to apply.
