The 12th Annual Meeting of the Society for the Science of Motivation (SSM) will be held on Thursday, May 23rd 2019, immediately prior to the 31st Annual Convention of the Association for Psychological Science (APS) in Washington DC. SSM is an interdisciplinary group and we aim to bring together scholars from across research disciplines who are interested in self-regulation, goals, and motivation.
This year, we are excited to feature a keynote address by Michael Tomasello (Duke University), as well as a presidential address by Andrew Elliot (University of Rochester), and a president's symposium on competence and motivation with the following speakers: Fabrizio Butera, Carol Dweck, Eva Pomerantz, Corwin Senko, and Sarah Townsend.
We now invite proposals for symposia, oral presentations, and posters. Submission Deadlines: Wednesday December 12th 2018 for symposia and oral presentations; Wednesday January 30th 2019 for poster presentations. Further information can be found in the call on the conference homepage: thessm.org/SSM2019CallForSubmissions.pdf
We would love to have you join us in Washington DC!
