    Position Summary

    The School of Business at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a tenure track faculty member to teach graduate and undergraduate Management courses beginning August 2019. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations is preferred. Faculty members are required by contract to engage in continuing scholarly development, academic advising, as well as performing department and university service.

    Minimum Qualifications

    A doctoral degree in Management or a closely related area with substantial graduate level coursework in management; however, A.B.D. will be considered if dissertation defense is scheduled. A doctoral degree from an AACSB-accredited institution is required. Successful performance in an interview, including a teaching demonstration, is required. Commitment to the education of diverse populations, perceived ability to work productively with students and colleagues, and engagement in appropriate research endeavors is required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Highly qualified candidates in Entrepreneurship, Human Resources Management, Management, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, Decision Science, International Business, and other Management related areas will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and research interests in Human Resources and/or entrepreneurship.
