    New Mexico State University College of Business is seeking applicants for Assistant or Associate Professor, Tenure Track Position in Human Resources to begin August 14, 2019.

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have an earned doctorate in management or a closely related discipline from an AACSB International accredited business school, although ABDs with successful defense by start date will be considered.  Candidates with a secondary emphasis in Organizational Behavior will be considered.

    Experience: Candidates should have demonstrated skills in verbal and written communication, and competency to interact in a collegial fashion with undergraduate and graduate students, colleagues, and staff. Candidates should have a solid record of scholarly research publication commensurate with their level of academic background. Applicants should also have a demonstrated record of success in classroom teaching, with instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels preferred. Prior experience and success in seeking external research funding and motivation to work in multidisciplinary teams are desirable. Competitive salary commensurate with education and experience.

    Responsibilities: The successful applicant will have responsibilities in the areas of teaching, research and service to the department, university <g class="gr_ gr_72 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep" id="72" data-gr-id="72">and</g> community. The position requires continued scholarly activity, including research publications in academic journals in the field of management. The faculty member will actively participate in graduate education by chairing graduate committees, serving on graduate committees, and supervising dissertation research, including Master and Doctoral students. Courses to be taught (undergraduate and graduate) will primarily be in the area(s) of human resources and/or organizational behavior.
