    I/O Psychology Instructional Assistant Professor - TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY.  The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences (http://psychology.tamu.edu) at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time Instructional Assistant Professor position to begin fall 2019. Teaching areas of particular interest include psychometrics and survey design, statistics and research methods, and traditional industrial/organizational psychology courses. Candidates will also be expected to provide service to our newly developed master's program in I/O Psychology in the form of student advising and contributing to the professional development series and internships that support the program.

     

    A PhD in Industrial/Organizational psychology or a closely related field is required (e.g., Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Educational Psychology/Measurement), but ABDs will be considered. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in quantitative methods and applied industry experience. We seek candidates who have a strong record of instruction and who are enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the new master's program.

     

    The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is a community of scholars committed to generating scientific discoveries in the discipline, providing rigorous undergraduate and graduate education, and engaging in outreach about psychology and the application of psychological science.
