    Lecturer, Department of Management, Harbert College of Business, Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama. The Department of Management within Auburn University's Harbert College of Business is seeking qualified candidates for a nine-month, non-tenure-track, non-tenure eligible full-time teaching Lecturer position. The contract is renewed annually based on need, funding, and performance.

    Job Qualifications

    Candidates will be required to possess a Master's degree in management or closely related field at the time employment begins. A Ph.D. in Management or closely related field is a plus as is previous business/managerial work experience. Because this is a teaching intensive position, candidates are expected to have instructional experience and evidence of quality teaching (e.g., course evaluations). Candidates must meet eligibility requirements to work in the U.S. at the time the appointment begins and be able to continue working legally for the term of employment. Excellent communication skills are required.

    Job Responsibilities

    Candidates must demonstrate both a willingness and ability to teach undergraduate management courses in behavioral (e.g., organizational change, leadership, human resources management) and/or core (principles of management, strategic management) tracks. Other responsibilities can include supporting other teaching missions of the department and participating in some departmental service activities. Under typical circumstances, the teaching load for the position will be three or four courses each fall and spring semester. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Additional teaching in summer semesters for additional compensation is possible if courses are available.
