Dear Colleagues,With apologies for cross posting.
My coauthors and I are currently conducting a meta-analysis on two issues: (1) the relation between emotional intelligence and its negative outcomes and (2) the correlation between emotional intelligence and three dark triad personalities. We have collected published papers regarding this topic. Moreover, we are also looking for unpublished empirical research such as in-press and conference papers, dissertations, master theses, and other unpublished works, satisfying the following criteria.
1) Studies reporting correlations between emotional intelligence and any or all of its negative outcomes (e.g., emotional manipulation, anti-social behaviors, and psychological health) and studies reporting correlations between emotional intelligence and dark triad personalities (Machiavellianism, narcissism, and psychopathy) at individual level of analysis.
2) In particular, we need research reporting correlations, reliabilities, and sample sizes.
3) If possible, we also request information related to what measures were used (e.g., for emotional intelligence, performance-based ability measures, self-report ability measures, trait emotional intelligence questionnaire, and/or mixed model measures), sample characteristics (e.g., employee, student; demographic characteristics) and characteristics of the data collection (e.g., cross-sectional vs. multi-wave; sampling strategy such as experimental vs. field survey).
Any unpublished work would be very helpful in carrying out our study. If you have such a study and you would be willing to share with us, please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org by January 7th, 2019.
Please also include the information a title, authors, and the status of the paper in order for us to cite your research appropriately.
Thank you very much in advance.
