Hello all.  My name is David Guess and I reside in Jeffersonville, IN.  In short, I just tell people I'm from Louisville, Kentucky considering downtown Louisville is within sight of my front porch.

I am an 18 year employee of a petroleum & chemical bulk transport company where I serve as an HR and OB Strategist.  My education comes from Indiana Wesleyan University (Masters in HR) and the University of the Cumberlands (MBA & EdD).  My research interest has always been within the realm of OB and OL, primarily within the field of commercial transportation.

In addition to my "day job" so to speak, I also serve as a faculty member for Indiana Wesleyan University and Ivy Tech Community College.  Within those programs I teach numerous business courses, HR courses, as well as capstone courses for graduate students.

I suppose that's enough about me.  More can be found via my LinkedIn profile.

    Hello Everyone,

My name is Kinshuk Sharma and I am pursuing a doctoral degree in OB-HR at Purdue University. My key areas of interest are trust, repair of trust, innovation, and teams. I am still early in my academic career (I'd be hopping into my second year in the coming fall) so am more in the sponge-mode at this point. I look forward to learning from this amazing community of scholars, and hopefully could contribute in some meaningful way in the near future.

Fun Fact: Just as Ashlee Fontes-Comber, I too was a student-athlete a decade ago at UNC Wilmington. I used to play professional tennis and have represented my country, India, in the Junior Davis Cup in 2005. For the tennis enthusiast here, I have played against the likes of players such as Kei Nishikori and some others in the top 100 right now. Once I quit tennis, I started writing books and so far have 2 books to my name (one is a poetry collection and the other is a fiction-fantasy novel). So before I decided to take the scholarly route, I have had a bit of fun with the artist in me as well.

I look forward to learning and contributing to the OB community!! :)

    Hello All

I'm a doctoral student - amidst all of you Professors, Assistant professors, and lecturers giants... Just a newbie starting off on this journey. I have several years of industry and consulting experience behind me; Academia was beckoning for several years but due to personal reasons I couldn't start till now. I'm at Aston Business School, Birmingham, UK and delighted to be living my dream. My areas of interest are within the family business domain - leadership development of next gen leaders, impact of relationships on successful inter-generational transfer of leadership, support from family and non-family stakeholders for successors of family business leadership. I'm also interested in the impact of culture on successions. I would be delighted to participate in discussions with all of you senior colleagues and, while learning from all of you, also hopefully contribute to the field through these conversations as well as maybe collaborate too.

    Cheers

    Kiran Kandade

    Hi friends

I am a currently enrolled PhD student at University of Western Australia and about to submit my research dissertation. My research examines multiple identity interactions in complex teams. The specific context of my research was healthcare teams where in addition to the identity dynamics, I also explored various organisational practices that can help to mitigate identity conflict and result in positive organisationally relevant outcomes. I used a mixed methods research design for my project.
I am very keen to join a symposium in OB and/or Healthcare Management to showcase my work. Please let me know if there are any opportunities and I will forward you a synopsis of my work for consideration.

    Regards
    Sonia
