    Associate/Full Professor of Management (Organizational Behavior)

    Description

    The Department of Management in the College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Organizational Behavior, at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, with a recommendation for tenure.  Responsibilities include scholarly research, instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and service to the institution and profession. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications.  Salary and benefits are AACSB-competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The appointment will begin on or about August 2019.

     

    Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Decisions regarding campus visits will be made no sooner than October 10, 2018.     Qualifications

     

    A Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a closely related discipline is required by the time of appointment. The successful candidate will have a strong record of scholarly contributions in the field of Organizational Behavior and a continued interest in and ability to publish in top-quality journals. Commitment to collegiality and excellence in teaching also are required.  In addition, candidates should have strong quantitative skills, be able to teach research methods and statistics courses in the College's PhD program, and be committed to training and mentoring PhD students.
