The Department of Economics, Management and Statistics (DEMS) of the University of Milano-Bicocca invites applications for a 24-month Post-Doc Research Grant in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Profile
The ideal candidate will be ready to carry out research in strategic management, with a particular attention to the growth of innovative startups. The candidate must possess a sound background and expertise in the analysis of data concerning entrepreneurship and innovation. We are looking for candidates with strong research potential who can publish in top-tier journals and be willing to contribute to the department.
About the Department
DEMS employs a group of 60 full-time faculty members, as well as 39 postdocs and PhD students. The department is committed to investing heavily in the ongoing development of its faculty and its Management Division. The research and teaching area of the Department includes theoretical and applied economics, marketing and business strategy.
The Management group of DEMS has published in top-tier general and field journals such as Management Science, Research Policy, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Economic Behavior&Organization, Industrial and Corporate Change, International Journal of Industrial Organization, International Journal of Central Banking, European Management Review, Management Research Review, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Technology Transfer and Small Business Economics. Other DEMS research groups have published in top-tier general and field journals such as American Economic Review, Economic Journal, Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, Annals of Statistics, Journal of Econometrics, European Economic Review and Energy Policy.
DEMS is one of the top-rated Italian departments in Economics, Management and Statistics and it is the recipient of a big competitive funding granted by the Italian Ministry of Universities, Education and Research (MIUR) under the Italian Departments of Excellence Program. Salary and contract
The salary is within a range established by Italian academic system regulations.
