    The Information Systems and Decision Sciences (ISDS) department at the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida (USF) is searching for an outstanding candidate to fill a tenured/ tenure-track faculty position in Management at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. 

    Candidates must have a PhD degree in Management or a related field from an AACSB accredited institution or equivalent with a publication record in management journals and conferences, commensurate with experience. Candidates who will successfully complete all requirements for the doctorate degree before Fall 2019, including final dissertation defense, may also apply.        

    Preference will be given to candidates with strong expertise and experience in research on leadership and negotiations. The ability to develop and offer relevant courses for the EMBA, MBA and MS-Management programs is also preferred. Preference will be given to a candidate who has a proven track record of publishing in leading management journals.  

    The ISDS department at the Muma College of Business includes faculty members who engage in fundamental research in management, information systems and business analytics, collaborate in interdisciplinary research programs, and publish in the leading journals in management, information systems and analytics. The department serves a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate programs at the college and university levels including the BS in Business Administration with majors and minors in Management, and Business Analytics and Information Systems (BAIS), MS in Management, MS in BAIS, MS in Cybersecurity, MBA, executive MBA, PhD and DBA.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    Minimum Qualifications:

    1. A terminal degree in Management from an AACSB or equivalently accredited business school or a related discipline from an equivalently accredited university. Candidates who will complete all requirements for the doctorate degree before fall 2019, including final dissertation defense, may also apply.
    2. A publication record or qualifications that are commensurate with classification as a "scholarly academic" according to current AACSB standards.
    3. Evidence of superior teaching ability.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. A research and/or teaching focus on leadership and negotiations
    2. A record of independent research and publications in leading management journals commensurate with experience.
    3. Ability to develop and offer relevant courses for the EMBA, MBA and MS in Management programs.
    4. Evidence of the ability to achieve grant success from competitive institutions such as NSF.

    Other Considerations:

    1. Overall quality of the candidate as indicated by letters of reference and personal contacts.
    2. Expectation that the candidate will contribute to the Muma College of Business' analytics and creativity focus.
