    Position:

    The Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership at the Ivey Business School, Western University, London, Ontario, Canada is seeking applicants for a post-doctoral research fellow positions in the field of leadership and <g class="gr_ gr_66 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling" id="66" data-gr-id="66">leader</g> character.  The position is available to begin immediately, although alternate start dates may be arranged.     The ideal applicants must already have, or be nearing completion of, their doctorate in organizational <g class="gr_ gr_55 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling multiReplace" id="55" data-gr-id="55">behaviour</g> or related field and have strong empirical research skills, as demonstrated by prior research projects, doctoral work, publications, or employment experience.  Applicants must also have excellent verbal and written communication <g class="gr_ gr_54 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" id="54" data-gr-id="54">skills,</g> and outstanding interpersonal skills.

    Applications must include a statement of prior achievements and interests relevant to the Institute for Leadership's mission. CVs will not be considered without an accompanying statement.

    Major/Essential Functions:

    The post-doctoral research fellow will work collaboratively with the Executive Director of the Institute for Leadership, affiliated faculty and <g class="gr_ gr_58 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation multiReplace" id="58" data-gr-id="58">PhD</g> students, and industry partners to conduct research related to the development of character in business leadership. Post-doctoral research fellows will work proactively and independently to design and conduct empirical research and to analyze and synthesize results, as well as in collaboration with various research teams affiliated with the Institute for Leadership. Duties also include writing and collaborating on scholarly papers, research reports, white papers, and conference materials. The fellow will proactively communicate research findings verbally and in writing to team members, collaborators and funders, and meaningfully contribute to the Institute's efforts to apply, adapt and comment upon such research for the benefit of student, faculty and public audiences. Planning, conducting and contributing appropriately to scholarly conferences, panel presentations, and academic exchanges will be an important aspect of the position.

    Salary Grade:

    Full-Time, for a 1 or 2 year period.  Salary to be negotiated after consideration.
