The ILR School at Cornell University invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Organizational Behavior, to begin August 2019. Applicants should have completed their PhD in organizational behavior, management, psychology, sociology, or a closely-related field by the time of appointment.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will actively contribute to the research mission of the ILR School, including working on joint projects with OB faculty while also moving their own independent research projects toward publication. The Postdoctoral Fellow is also expected to teach one course during the two-year appointment.

We are particularly interested in candidates whose research interests align with OB faculty members' ongoing research activities. Faculty members come from the fields of organizational behavior, management, psychology, and sociology, and regularly publish in top-tier journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, American Journal of Sociology, American Sociological Review, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Psychological Science, and Journal of Experimental Social Psychology. Applicants are encouraged to review faculty profiles before submitting their materials.

The ILR School is the world's leading college focused on work, employment, and labor issues. The School provides a rich intellectual environment for organizational researchers, with strong ties to the Psychology and Sociology Departments and the SC Johnson College of Business. OB faculty members are actively involved in research centers and initiatives at the ILR School and across the University, including the ExPO Lab, which seeks to advance knowledge about fundamental psychological processes relevant to human attitudes, cognitions and behavior in organizations, the Institute for the Social Sciences, the Behavioral Economics and Decision Research Center, and the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future.

To be considered, please apply via Academic Jobs Online at https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/13136. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter describing their research interests, a vita, a writing sample, and three references. Applications from women and minority candidates are strongly encouraged.

Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until February 15. Questions about this position can be directed to Professor Tove Hammer (thh2@cornell.edu), Chair of the Department of Organizational Behavior.
