    ********************************

The Department of Management at the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business is seeking applications for the inaugural Medart Professor of Private Business to start in the Fall Semester of 2019, pending final approval. Entrepreneurship is one of three distinct majors offered by the Management Department, the others being Leadership & Human Resources Management and Sports Business.  Our Entrepreneurship program is currently nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Reports as the 9th best undergraduate program and 12th best graduate program. Further, it has been ranked in the top 25 for over 25 years and is supported by the Richard A. Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship, which runs the Institute for Private Business.  Candidates should also be aware that our Entrepreneurship program is highly experiential.

Ideal candidates should have a publication record in private or family business that is commensurate with appointment to an endowed position.  In addition, candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to quality teaching Entrepreneurial courses and articulate how they have been engaged with entrepreneurs and have promoted entrepreneurship. Further, the individual is expected to have a terminal degree (i.e., Ph.D. or DBA) from an AACSB accredited university.

Interested candidates should send their resume to Dr. Jerome Katz, at jerome.katz@slu.edu or 314-977-3864.  Please visit  http://www.slu.edu to learn more about Saint Louis University.
