     My apologies for any cross-posting.

The Department of Management in the UNT College of Business seeks a faculty member at the Assistant or Associate level in the field of Management. The search is open to candidates with a background in Entrepreneurship & Strategic Management or Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. Position responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses consistent with the candidate's background. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in teaching online and face-to-face courses, conduct scholarly research that leads to publication in leading academic management journals, and perform service activities within the department, College of Business, and the University of North Texas. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The University of North Texas is a Carnegie Tier One national research institution located in the vibrant and rapidly expanding Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area and is situated in close proximity to DFW International Airport. University enrollment is over 37,000 students with more than 6,500 graduate students. The university offers 216 undergraduate and graduate majors and concentrations. The College of Business is accredited by AACSB International.

The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The University of North Texas System immediately investigates and takes remedial action when appropriate.

The University of North Texas System also takes actions to prevent retaliation against individuals who oppose a discriminatory practice, file a charge, or testify, assist or participate in an investigative proceeding or hearing.

Candidates must have an earned doctorate or be ABD (with evidence of completion by Fall 2019) in Management or a related field from an AACSB-accredited institution. Candidates with new or anticipated Ph.D. degrees must have teaching experience and research in progress that is likely to result in one or more publications in top tier journals.

Active faculty with well-established research programs that link to the Department's strategic initiatives in Entrepreneurship/Strategic Management or Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management would be viewed favorably. Strong candidates demonstrate clear evidence of teaching excellence at all levels -- undergraduate, masters, and doctoral.  Exceptional candidates also have prior experience in obtaining funded research support.
