    Dear Colleagues,

Are you interested in developing international careers? How to manage academic career transitions across countries? We cordially invite you to attend the PDW: Managing International Academic Career Transitions, at the 2018 Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Chicago.

    Time: Saturday, Aug 11 2018 8:00AM - 9:30AM
Location: Sheraton Grand Chicago in Ohio
    Sponsors: CAR, HR, IM

This PDW is aimed at scholars interested in developing international academic careers. As careers are becoming boundaryless in the globalized world, we hope to provide an opportunity for scholars to share their academic career experiences in different countries and to explore issues, such as the difference among academic employment systems in different countries, the opportunities and challenges of making international career transitions. The discussion will not only benefit scholars who are now on the job market or are undergoing career transitions, but also inspire more research associated with international careers.

This PDW features a group of scholars with very diverse academic experiences in Asia, North America and Europe, including:

    Speaker: Thorsten Grohsjean, Bocconi U.
    Speaker: Yanjun Guan, Durham U.
Speaker: Amit Nigam, City U. London
Speaker: Yuping Zeng, Southern Illinois U., Edwardsville
    Organizer: Rui Shen, Peking U.

No pre-registration is required. Looking forward to seeing you in Chicago!

    Best regards,
    Rui Shen
